It is about time I purchase a new computer, and I have decided it will be a netbook.
The netbook will allow more mobile use around the house, sitting in front of the TV, sitting out side, and having the recipe from taste.com.au in front of me while cooking!
My choices seem to have come down to the ASUS or the ACER. I was looking at the MSI wind, but trying to get information about them is hard in Australia. Their local web site was down for a few days (for regular maintenance, be back soon! Ha!), Emails to their Australian operations have been un-answered, and I even tried to get help from twitter, no response. I would hate to think what would happen if I purchased one of their machines and needed help!
So, its looking like the ASUS is the winner on price, performance, and that from all reports on the web, they provide good after sales.
Next week is the big purchase, may also get a 3G wireless card while I am at it.
